Reporting to the Project Director of the PMO Process and Tools Team, the Senior Business Analyst will serve a role principally focusing on the Service Now application: defining application requirements for enhancements and new functionality, and taking the lead in working with our outsourced support vendor. Successful applicants will have experience working with external clients, collecting and organizing data have the ability to define collection methodology, templates, and tools, and be skilled at defining and prioritizing work in an efficient manner. Responsibilities include: - Establish and maintain relationships with internal users (IT, Finance, and HR clients) to better understand their business and identify ways to improve the functionality offered in Service Now. - With assistance from other teams members, act as project manager overseeing enhancements being managed by Service Now outsourced support. This includes delivering requirements, tracking expected due dates, and monitoring vendor hours used. - Develop business requirements documentation, process workflow diagrams, and functional specifications, user acceptance test scripts, and other supporting documentation required for Service Now enhancements. - Communicate status regularly with stakeholders and executive sponsors. - Prepare business and technical documentation necessary to support business process changes or creation. - Quickly understand the business issues and data challenges of client's organization and industry. - Lead testing efforts. - Understand how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully. - Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions. - Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships. - Manage client expectations effectively YOU MUST SUBMIT YOUR RESUME AND SALARY HISTORY TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.

Minimum Qualifications for Grade Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience. - 4+ years related experience.
Additional Position-Specific Minimum Qualifications Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant

  • Knowledge of business analysis methodologies. - Excellent communication skills: ability to engage with high profile system users as well as manage vendor relationships. - Must be able to manage diverse projects simultaneously, with a large volume of detail and changing deadlines. - Must be organized and be able to work as part of a team, consulting with other team members.
Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years related experience. - Intermediate-to-advanced skills using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio or similar products. - Intermediate-to-advanced experience using Service Now.
