The Senior Business Analyst –Arena Systems works with the Director of Business Analysis, Project Manager and other IT staff delivering functional business analysis, requirements-gathering and application troubleshooting support services. The Senior Business Analyst – Arena Systems is responsible for the development of documentation for existing and proposed business processes and functional specifications, as well as the facilitation of joint application design sessions with users and IT staff. The Senior Business Analyst – Arena Systems is also responsible for troubleshooting moderate to complex system issues and communicating with all application customers who use the system supporting all venues. Typically, the Senior Business Analyst – Arena Systems is assigned to one or more business units of medium to large size and the project assignments are medium to large scale, moderately to highly complex, and/or moderately to highly visible. The Senior Business Analyst – Arena Systems will focus on key functional business areas including, point-of-sale, vending, inventory, purchasing, event and property management, ticketing and warehouse receiving. Past experience with systems such as InfoGenesis, Glory, Ticketmaster and Eatec is recommended.

Job Qualifications:
Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business/Management, Computer Science or related discipline/equivalent work experience. Will have 6 or more years of experience as a Business Analyst and four or more years of application troubleshooting and support, and or four or more years of full life cycle experience with both custom development and packaged application deployment. Must have experience working within a formal development methodology. Will have a full understanding of project management processes and steps, with the ability to perform multiple tasks and adjust priorities based on workload or direction from management or clients. Must have knowledge of all phases of the software development life cycle, specifically the requirements gathering and documentation process. Will have proven analytical ability related to analysis of functional business processes with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment. Must be highly organized and detail oriented, possess exceptional verbal and written communications skills and a knowledge of company's business practices and/or industry.
