Purpose of Position

Provides support by analyzing business processes and developing solutions or making recommendations.

Essential Functions

Collaborate with UT System and UT institution professionals to and develop and implement Salesforce based initiatives. Responsible for the documentation of policies and procedures to ensure the operational quality of all aspects of the database for education and communication with UT System staff in Office of Technology and Information. Systems (OTIS), UT institution staff and consultants Transfer data and files existing on legacy databases to Salesforce, including the Office of Intellectual Property (OIP) at UT System, and legacy databases at UT System institutions. Interface with business and information technology professionals to create, design and develop new solutions cost effective solutions that drive customer value, performance assurance, scalability. Execute declarative Salesforce application configuration and CRM. Handle web services application programming interface (API.) Provide post implementation support and participate in post-implementation reviews of application development content and process to maximize and share learning. Take the lead on setting up a Cloud and/or Salesforce.com Center of Excellence for all UT institutions.

Required qualifications

Bachelors degree in information technology, computer science, IT Systems engineering or related field and three years of related experience.
