WWE is looking for a new Senior Business Solutions Analyst. This person would be responsible is responsible for: Liaising with and designing technology/process solutions to support the business, providing functional support for enhancements related to the company’s financial systems. Their duties will also include scoping, executing and managing key IT-business initiatives such as new system implementations. They are also responsible for collaborating with other IT stakeholders to ensure that the design and integration of proposed solutions are scalable, cost effective and in-line with industry standards/best practices. The individual will also work closely with senior leaders in the business.
Responsible for all aspects of new projects from scoping to delivery of solution and knowledge transition.
Working with Offshore and offsite teams in delivery of solutions.
Work with IT senior management to develop a plan supporting the company's IT vision, direction and strategy as well as to establish Business Analysis, BI and key initiative related annual budgets, priority and resource requirements
Develop strategic road map for company’s enterprise reporting and business intelligence environment, working closely with business and IT stakeholders
Provide direction, guidance and leadership to all business analyst projects
Drive process and controls centric culture, approach and skill set within the team
Create and promote a positive and collaborative team environment
Ensure all technical request or enhancement projects follow the established Software
Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including but not limited to project opportunity statements, business requirements, functional specifications, scope documentation, test requirements, project plans, test plans, and IT test completion prior to business testing
Plan and staff appropriate resources for software implementation, development efforts, application and reporting application enhancement projects to meet business needs.
Provide quality deliverables within time and budget commitments
Develop collaborative working relationships with all business partners/departments and IT colleagues
Provide hands-on Business Analyst support as appropriate, including project management, analysis, and written documentation and testing
Translate business and user requirements into solid requirements for development projects.
Manage and align projects, define business/technical requirements, manage and delegate tasks, facilitate meetings and create status updates
Develop reliable work estimates and project plans for Business Analyst tasks and manage to project plan
Provides functional and architectural support for enhancements related to the company’s ERP and financial systems
Provide tactical and strategic support to the Finance organization to increase efficiency in the planning process and transition to a rolling forecast approach
Establish the strategy and roadmap for the development of the Enterprise Data Warehouse including strategic objectives, business requirements, HW/SW support, information delivery options, data modeling, project plans, resource requirements, and cost estimates.
Build out the company’s Cognos platform to provide executive and analytical business reporting
Lead and participate in development teams to deliver data warehouse and business intelligence solutions utilizing the Microsoft BI platform and other leading BI technologies
Lead meetings in preparation of project planning directly with client business users and sponsors, including requirements and architecture review, and project milestone sessions
Ensure continuous development of team skills for both the BI & ETL technical tools
Support company’s e-commerce BI reporting tool. Some distribution and Sales background required.
Have some experience working with ERP systems in Finance, Distribution and Sales
High levels of organization and dynamic thinking
Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
Ability to prioritize, delegate and handle multiple projects at the same time.
Strong motivation, leadership, technical, and project management skills
Minimum of seven years with progressive responsibility in management of major business - IT system/process implementations
Strong financial process experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to liase with members of the finance and accounting teams
Must have a strong understanding of accounting/financial concepts
Knowledge of Cognos BI architecture is a big plus
