As a Senior Computer Security Researcher, you will become part of a team charged with advancing the state of the art in cyber security for a major government agency. Specific research design tasks will be selected in conjunction with senior management. The successful candidate must be able to work in a team environment while capable of leading tasks independently with minimal to no supervision.
Interact with customer managers and lead researchers to develop research programs and agendas.
Provide documentation for customer requirements and research results.
Assist with the evaluation, selection and design of research programs in cyber security.
Analyze public sources of cyber security research reports.
Minimal travel is required.
Masters Degree plus 6 to 8 years IT security experience;
Knowledge of the following: computer operating systems and networking protocols, current security threats and attack scenarios.
Track record in IT security research, as evidenced by relevant research publications.
PhD in Information Technology or a related field.
Experience in cyber security is desired.

Capable of quickly understanding new systems with limited training, manuals and technical support
