The Sr. Consolidation & Reporting Analyst will report to the Sr. Manager of SEC Reporting and play a key role in the accounting and reporting for BrightSource Energy. Specifically, the Sr. Consolidation & Reporting Analyst will be primarily responsible for the preparation of the monthly global consolidation and external reporting package, summarizing and analyzing consolidated financial results, maintenance of subsidiary reporting packages, providing support to the external reporting process including preparation and review of the various SEC filings. This position is also involved in various finance projects and assists in the implementation of "best practice" processes and procedures throughout the department. This position interacts regularly with other key members of the Corporate Accounting and Finance Team, Senior Management, our foreign subsidiaries and external auditors. The individual in this role must be a dedicated self-starter, possess strong analytical and external financial reporting skills and be a capable of working in a challenging and fast paced environment while meeting established deadlines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for maintaining the monthly/quarterly/annual subsidiary reporting package

Responsible for the monthly worldwide consolidation within Oracle ERP

Preparation of intercompany eliminations and support

Implement and maintain procedures related to the consolidations process

Analyze financial results and report changes to management

Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SOX requirements

Support ongoing Oracle ERP system enhancements and any necessary system upgrades

Support ad hoc consolidations and reporting requests

Other accounting and finance special projects, as needed

Other

Minimal travel to locations as required

May support other executives as needed

Performs other duties as may be determined from time to time

Qualifications

Big 4 audit and CPA

Public + Industry experience required

Hands-on consolidation and intercompany experience required

Self-motivated to perform technical accounting research and form conclusions on the application of GAAP

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

Oracle or other ERP system

Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills

Strong analytical/problem-solving skills

Self-starter and ability to multi-task while performing a variety of complex tasks

Detailed and results oriented and able to work in a high paced, fast changing environment
