Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for providing high-level project management and product development on a wide range of revenue-producing educational solution products including, but not limited to, print curricula, training manuals, videos and a variety of digital products for youth and adults. This position will be responsible for the planning, coordinating and execution of product development projects, including the supervision of external subcontractors and vendors and managing relationships with external authors/partners/customers and internal team members. This position will also initiate and facilitate the acquisition of new products and the implementation of instructional design processes that result in products that meet established quality and revenue standards, are completed within budgetary and schedule requirements, meet customer needs, and serve Hazelden’s mission. This position will also conduct ongoing research to determine market trends, new product ideas and formats.

Qualifications:

Position requires a Masters degree in instructional design, educational technology, English, journalism, education, adult learning or equivalent experience; a minimum of 5 years print and digital educational product development or instructional design experience for both youth and adult products. Preferred qualifications include: experience working in a publishing house or similar organization, experience developing products specific to Hazelden’s markets and experience working with digital product development, such as Web pages, online courses, etc.
