An innovative and dynamic IT company is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator.
The successful candidate's job responsibility will be to administer contracts/subcontracts and negotiate contract terms and conditions in order to develop and fulfill the organizations contractual requirements.
Reviews solicitations and prepares responses for proposals, bids, and contract modifications.
Develop and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, teaming agreements and non-disclosure agreements.
Prepare requests for proposals to subcontractors.
Analyze contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, corporate policies, and business unit procedures.
Provide contractual guidance to business team members for appropriate Statement of Work terms and clauses.
Manage contract change control process.
Develop negotiation strategy and lead negotiation team on contractual issues.
Analyze new laws, regulations and contract trends for potential impact on corporate goals and objectives.
Provide authoritative guidance to internal business teams on corporate goals and objectives relating to contract activity.
Focal point for all communication with law, finance and business team disciplines for resolution of contract issues and disputes.
May assist in new business pursuit and associated contract strategy.
Assists in identification, development and implementation of new contract policy and processes.
Assists in monitoring the financial aspects of the contract and resolve financial/analytical issues.
Other duties as assigned.
Possess an excellent understanding of the FAR and Department of Defense contracting policies and procedures and business methods.
Ability to interact with corporate executives and Government personnel.
Experience with reviewing and analyzing government contracts and solicitations
Successful creation and implementation of processes for contract and project management.
Proficiency with Microsoft suite of tools (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook).
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and must work well in a team environment that consists of both government and other contractors.
Ability to organize and disseminate information efficiently and set expectations.
Ability to multi-task and work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Strong time management skills, prioritization abilities, and ability to execute ownership of issues and tasks.
Ability to work as a team member and contribute to the overall success of a team as well as work independently and handle multiple tasks.
Years Experience 7 -10 years in Federal Government Contracting
Education BA/BS in Business or related
