Operational Shared Services (OSS) delivers innovative technical solutions and talented professionals to support all of our global business units in: Contracts, Procurement, Estimating, Project Controls, Document Management, Quality and Safety management.
Parsons is seeking a Contracts Manager for OSS to join our team and to primarily handle transactional work as it relates to Parsons’ pursuits of complex engineering and construction projects. The candidate must be proficient in the drafting of a variety of contracting vehicles, including: Prime Agreements, Joint Venture, Teaming, and Non-Disclosure Agreements. The successful candidate must also identify contractual risks and prepare comprehensive risk assessments which will be used as the basis for internal strategy meetings with project personnel and members of executive management. He or she will also serve as a liaison between pursuit teams and other corporate support groups (e.g., tax, insurance, finance). Some travel required (5%).
- 15 + years of engineering and construction law working with prime contracts within a law firm or large international E&C firm.
- Proficiency in drafting, negotiation, interpretation, and administration of engineering and construction contracts.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Law degree from an ABA accredited law school.
