Job description

As the Senior Corporate Counsel you will work closely with the Sales & Marketing business to support various international brands.

You will be required to provide broad based legal support and guidance by:

Drafting, reviewing, and assuring appropriate advice regarding complex commercial contracts involving agencies, sponsorship, promotional partners, consultants and vendors

Reviewing and approving marketing and sales programs and materials, including both traditional and digital advertising/programs

Proactively identifying and addressing new and complex issues facing the business in a highly regulated market including both financial and reputation risks

Delivering advice and providing support on intellectual property, litigation and real estate matters as needed

Delivering accurate, creative, timely, and user-friendly legal advice and training in a fast paced, competitive environment without routine supervision

Keeping clients appropriately informed

Adding value to the business by supporting new business initiatives and projects

Positively influencing outcomes through persuasion and collaboration

Working closely with several business units and responding more generally to client's ongoing legal needs

Who we are looking for

You will be a Corporate generalist with strong transactional expertise particularly in the area of commercial contracts with strong client contact experience.

You will possess the following:
Must have JD degree, ideally from a top institution

Extensive experience, including experience with a leading law firm

Applicants should have strong experience in contract drafting, interpretation and negotiation as well as regulatory compliance

In house experience preferred (flexible on industry but CPG is desirable)

Industry experience and/or intellectual property experience preferred

Demonstrated ability to master wide ranging fields of law and apply them in complex problem solving in support of the business and to communicate critical information in an effective manner
