HR Direct Dial is a resource for all of Cargill's North America employees regarding payroll, benefits, and general HR questions. This is a high-volume call center environment taking an average of 7,000 calls a month from nearly 70,000 employees in the US, Mexico, and Canada. HR Direct also fields questions from the HR website, emails, and walk-ups.
The HR Customer Service Representative in this role in HR Direct Dial will provide assistance to employees regarding HR Direct on-line, benefits, payroll, and other HR related issues. You will follow-up with customers on questions not answered on first contact. In addition, you'll provide accurate and detailed information on unresolved inquiries.
65% Manage telephone, e-mail, and walk-in inquiries regarding a variety of HR related issues for North American (NA) employees
5% Manage Phone Enrollments
10% Maintain call center records through electronic means
10% Conduct research, special projects and system enhancements as needed
5% Share knowledge and information with team members on a continual basis
5% Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma
- 2+ years of experience working in a call center or customer service role handling customer requests and inquiries
- Ability to multi-task using different computer programs
- Excellent computer proficiency
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent phone skills
- Strong customer focus skills
- High attention to detail
Relocation will not be provided for this position.
- Human Resources or Benefits designations
- Knowledge of People Soft
- Familiarity with a union working environment
- PeopleSoft or SAP experience
- Knowledge of benefits, payroll, or other HR processes
