City of Hope National Medical Center is seeking to hire a Senior Data Quality Monitor to monitor research data collection to understand human diseases and the improvement of human health; engage in clinical investigation, research and development, and other related activities; provide data quality assurance, training and education of Clinical Research personnel; responsible for the initial training in protocol management and data collection, maintaining high-quality standards for data collection; provide resources to clinical research personnel for the clinical trials management process; evaluation and creation of case report forms, instructions for case report forms, and data collection grids for COH protocols; coordination of monitoring and training activities for outside sites; ensure that all processes contributing to the performance of the clinical trials are conducted in accordance with ICH/GCP guidelines and to ensure high quality and integrity of the research data; work with clinical staff from multiple areas and clinical departments of the organization in support of the institutional goal of providing accurate data for clinical research; serve as content expert and resource to clinical research personnel.
Minimum Education received Master’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Health Services Administration, Biology, or related medical/health field plus at least one year experience of working as Clinical Researcher/Research Associate/Research Coordinator and/or as a Data Quality Monitor, in the field of oncology or related; OR Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Health Services Administration, Biology, or related medical/health field plus at least five years’ experience of working as Clinical Researcher/Research Associate/Research Coordinator and/or as a Data Quality Monitor, in the field of oncology or related. Must be Certified Clinical Research Associate (CRA) and have knowledge of Medical Terminology
