We have three main products:
  • HowAboutWe Dating is the offline dating site. Members post date ideas, connect, and meet - offline.
  • HowAboutWe for Couples helps couples have wonderful experiences together. Members choose from our curated collection of one-of-a-kind experiences for two; we take care of all the booking. It’s the must-have membership for the modern couple.
  • The Date Report provides engaging, entertaining and enlightening content about dating and relationships.
Who You Are You are an experienced designer who wants to join us in creating a suite of consumer-facing products that transform the way people fall in love and stay in love.

You’re comfortable researching, concepting, and designing major features for our products. You like a challenge, and you want to work at a company that allows you to take on significant responsibility, explore new platforms, and grow as a designer. Visual finesse comes easy to you, and you’re constantly thinking about what makes a great product.

You’re aware of the big picture and believe that a great brand speaks through everything from mobile apps to emails to display ads. So, you are happy to take on a variety of projects, big or small, product or marketing.

You love being part of a close-knit team. You want to collaborate and inspire others to do great work. You seek thoughtful, positive collaboration with developers.

You want everything you design to be beautiful and smart.

You have:
  • 3+ years designing websites, mobile / tablet applications, and/or marketing materials.
  • Exceptional eye for detail, and a solid creative process that reflects your dedication to design fundamentals.
  • Experience prioritizing your own workflow, and successfully managing your own projects from concept to production.
  • The ability to switch gears and be innovative while maintaining our design and brand language.
  • Understanding of web standards and modern client-side engineering, including a solid grasp of how JavaScript, HTML, CSS, etc. work. Actual front-end skills a plus, but not required.
  • Great attitude, strong communication, terrific collaborator.

This position is for full-time employment on-site in our office in DUMBO. We will support relocation for the right candidates.
