Primarily responsible for managing a portfolio of major gift prospects and donors and supervising members of the Foundation team.
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. Advanced academic degree or credential preferred.
Ten years experience of progressively productive leadership in the following areas: major gift. Fundraising and management. Experience in healthcare preferred. Demonstrated familiarity with cultivating, soliciting and stewarding prospects and donors. Demonstrated knowledge and utilization of information systems to support fundraising activities. Demonstrated track record of managing fundraisers.
Strong interpersonal skills, self-confidence and assertiveness, diplomacy, teamwork, good judgment, and respect for confidentiality. Ability to represent the Foundation to external audiences through the use of strong verbal and written communication skills. Willingness to travel outside the office, occasional evening and weekend work, and to adjust to other needs of the department.
