?Identifies, qualifies, cultivates, and solicits high net worth Wellesley alumnae, parents, and friends with the capacity to make gifts of $100,000 or more in support of the College's priorities.
?Actively manages a portfolio of between 250 ? 300 donors and prospects.
?Travels as appropriate to assigned regions to meet with prospects and donors
?Solicits alumnae, parents, and friends for capital, endowment, and high-level annual fund gifts.
?Collaborates with the Director of Individual Giving and colleagues in Leadership & Planned Giving, The Wellesley Fund, and the Parents Fund to identify and coordinate the recruitment and solicitation of alumnae, parents, and friends.
?Presents the College's financial needs and funding goals articulately, persuasively and with confidence.
?Meets or exceeds annual visit, engagement, and fundraising goals.
?Participates in key events at which alumnae, parents, and friends are present, such as Friends & Families Weekend, Alumnae Leadership Conference, Commencement, and Reunion.
?Leads by example, and where necessary and appropriate, coordinates class-focused and reunion-specific activities with Wellesley Fund and WCAA colleagues.
?Other projects and duties as needed

Minimum Qualifications:
?B.A. degree and a valid license required
?8+ years of front-line fundraising or comparable experience, including conducting successful solicitations, closing gifts, and familiarity with reuion giving and/or alumni/ae development experience, preferably in an academic setting
?Extensive experience working with a wide-spectrum of volunteers and donors
?Ability and a desire to travel an average of 5-7 days per month to engage alumnae, parents, and friends in conversations regarding their philanthropic support of Wellesley College
?Superior written and oral communication skills
?Strong analytical skills, including the ability to look at data and draw conclusions
?Excellent interpersonal skills, an ability to work collaboratively, and an orientation toward customer service
?Absolute confidentiality, professionalism and discretion required
?Commitment to the mission and goals of Wellesley College
?Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working both independently and as a member of a team
?Familiarity with and/or interest in learning about planned giving vehicles
?Familiarity with Windows-based systems, including tracking systems and a high comfort-level using technology to communicate and share information
