Role Summary:
As a Senior Digital Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day partner relationships and sales processes to guarantee your Sales team hits its revenue goals. You will be a member of the highly motivated Digital Ad Sales team, working closely with management and sales to help streamline the group and create additional revenue where possible.
  • Work with all internal departments (Ad Ops, Marketing, Management, Site Team, Inventory, etc.) on the development and implementation of Ad campaigns.
  • Create media plans that meet customer needs and maximize revenue for NBC Universal.
  • Work closely with Planning Manager to tactically drive company-wide goals and initiatives.
  • Team with Account Executives on all deals to understand campaign deliverables.
  • Manage client relationships and deliver superior customer service.
  • Analyze areas within the sales/planning workflow that can be improved, create process enhancements that eliminate any bottlenecks or barriers to entry.
  • Work with Ops to improve the delivery of Ad campaigns. Come up with creative solutions to ensure that all Ad campaigns deliver in full.
  • Help train new account managers and get them up to speed
  • Handle any and all ad hoc requests that may surface in a timely, efficient manner

  • Qualifications/Requirements
    Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree required
  • 2+ years of online experience in media planning or client service role.
  • Two years of project media related work.

  • Must be willing to work in New York.

  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrate ability to work with a broad range of internal and external clients.
  • Digital Media experience preferred.
  • Well organized and good attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills/team oriented.
  • Strong computer skills especially in Excel, Power Point, and word.
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment.
  • Ad Serving software and tracking knowledge a plus.
  • Strong analytical and creative skills.
  • A strong ability to perform independently and proactively while working in a team environment.
  • High energy and teamwork mentality a must.
