We are seeking a Sr. Director, Strategist that can successfully lead strategy for integrated Digital Media programs for enterprise level clients including Search, Display, Social, and Email marketing. The Director, Strategist acts a senior leader on the client team, forming deep relationships with client and IMPAQT leadership. They are responsible for understanding their client’s business, developing and guiding integrated strategies that will achieve business objectives, and working with client teams to ensure the proper implementation and analysis of key strategies.
As we feel all insights are found in data, much of your time will be spent analyzing data and making decisions based on those findings. You must be able to use these analytical insights, along with industry best practices and your own creative strategies to effectively meet client goals. The Senior Digital Strategist must possess a consultative approach to effective communications and business case development and have the ability to develop new ways to use digital media on behalf of our clients and then build buy in from internal teams and clients to support those strategies.
The Sr. Director, Strategy role is critical to our business in many ways. In this role, you nurture and build credible and trusting relationships with clients, account teams, and cross-functional partners in vertical teams, analytics, client services and technology development. You are accountable for client satisfaction, media integration, program performance, new product development and to assist in team management and training.

Passionately work with client services teams to help manage and grow large, complex, strategic accounts, ensuring that client relationships remain harmonious and that the clients receive a quality of service that will encourage further growth and profitability
Responsible for maintaining a clear understanding of contractual guidelines and business requirements and to look for new areas of client growth for the IMPAQT business
Ensure all strategies proposed are in accordance with and will contribute to the achievement of client goals and working with other IMPAQT departments to level set and prioritize strategies based on business value and feasibility when necessary
Ensure the agency operates on a solid foundation by building strong, impenetrable executive client relationships
Refine/Develop new methodologies and work practices that improve the agency’s – and clients’ -- performance and profitability
Relationship Management & Development:
Possess a superior understanding of clients’ business issues, industry, competitors, and brands
Is constantly attuned to the evolving needs of client and utilize insights to help clients to articulate their needs, and the agency to propose groundbreaking strategies that push the envelope of digital media
Communicates powerfully – and is credible – with executive clients
Easily builds rapport and trust with others
Is viewed as an exceptional leader by agency colleagues
Resolves conflict easily and quickly, reducing organization and interpersonal issues
Represent IMPAQT as a thought leader in the digital marketing space, by displaying detailed knowledge of all forms of online marketing including Search, Display, Social and Email
Build and maintaining relationships with key industry influencers
Write white papers, POV’s and articles on a regular basis in order to disseminate IMPAQT’s perspective on online marketing and its’ role within all forms of marketing
Develop a good understanding of traditional offline marketing techniques including direct mail, print, outdoor and television advertising
Accountable for working with client teams to overseeing $30+million dollar digital marketing programs that maximize client’s Return on Investment and achieve their overall business goals
Provide leadership in the development, implementation and delivery of integrated media strategies, which drive optimal campaign performance and provide a competitive edge in the marketplace for our clients
Develop actionable recommendations, communicating through presentations, Points of Views, key strategic deliverables, and within dynamic and fast-paced, on-demand consulting environments
Persuasively drive recommendations within client’s organization
Stay up to date on and advise clients and internal teams on the latest trends in Digital marketing, seeking ways in which to test and implement within accounts in an integrated fashion
Utilize sound business judgment to navigate the complex challenges of everyday conflicts that may interfere with the stated vision of campaign performance and client management
Partner with all teams to create innovative ways to impact business results
Assist in the development of other team members within the Digital Strategy department from both a professional and industry perspective
Manage expectations of other departments within IMPAQT related to product development and strategy development
Work cohesively with Sales and Operations teams in a variety of functions, such as prospecting new clients, process design, new product development, scope of services, and defining technology requirements
B.A/B.S. degree required; Marketing, Business, Information Sciences, or Economics is preferred
8+ years of enterprise level Digital Marketing experience, with 3+ years of business and resource management experience preferably within multiple vertical industries
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with proven problem solving capabilities; Skillful at assessing disparate data, drawing conclusions, and taking appropriate action
Successful management of large scale, multi-faceted projects with dynamic timelines in a fast paced environment
Articulate and effective communication skills, tailoring message to the audience; Experience developing and delivering presentations with actionable insights and the ability to influence the decision making process
Confident and action oriented, with a keen ability to create, lead and develop business programs across multiple functions with many stakeholders
