Vice President, Corporate Communications

This senior leader will be responsible for leading the strategy, planning, development, and implementation of all corporate communications including, business and trade media Public Relations plan, Analyst Relations plan, social media plan, internal employee communications, crisis management, executive presentation and speech writing, and executive social media management. This individual will be the lead for agency partners, influencers and media contacts who need information and insight about the company to establish its thought leadership in enterprise mobility. Key to success will be developing close working relationships with the Senior Manager of Analyst Relations, regional team leaders and Good’s agency partners.
Create and own the public relations (PR), analyst relations (AR), social, and internal communication strategy for the entire business
Evaluate, assess and hire as needed multiple agencies across different countries. Establish operational objectives, metrics, and work plans across each region and with each agency partner
Orchestrate a global communications strategy by defining engagement and measurement for company messages on all communications channels including social media
Achieve consistent quality media coverage for the entire business through targeted, measurable PR programs to increase brand awareness and drive leads
Working with product marketing and executive team, drive the press release and blog strategy, writing and editing, speaking and award PR programs
Media train and counsel all Good speakers for events, analyst conversations, and media briefings
Provide PR counsel, editorial services, crisis response for key strategic initiatives, programs, events or breaking news
Drive cross-functional coordination to achieve alignment with overall marketing goals
Establish and manage budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements
This is a top management position. This job often requires bachelor's degree preferably Journalism, Communications or Marketing within a relevant area of specialization. In addition to the extensive educational requirements, the applicants must also possess a number of years in the field--generally, 8 to 15 years in Senior Marketing positions. The candidate must have excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task and solid leadership skills.
+12 years of total experience in B2B technology companies; some consumer experience highly desirable
Direct experience managing the corporate public relations program including managing the AOR or working directly for a public relations agency conducting hands on writing and client management
Have strong relationships and/or familiarity with key audiences including business and trade media, analysts, key bloggers and influencers in social media
Enjoy using investigative skills when working with a variety of cross functional teams to develop strategy and ensure all communications are accurate and timely
Proven track record writing communications with brand personality and a consistent track record of success at growing companies
This is a hands on role. Experience with creative writing and editing communications including but not limited to press releases, blogs, social media posts, internal company communications, presentations, speeches
Executive presence with senior leadership, customers and partners
Well-versed in current communication trends and up and coming strategies
