LeapFrog’s Senior Director of Digital Merchandising will lead a team of merchandisers to drive the product strategy, assortment and presentation for LeapFrog’s direct-to-consumer business, including both hard goods and digital content sales.
The Senior Director of Digital Merchandising will develop a deep LeapFrog product and consumer expertise and guide the merchandising team to create a world-class commerce and service experience for LeapFrog consumers (parents) that maximizes conversion, sales and profitability for LeapFrog’s e-commerce business.
Duties & Responsibilities
Product merchandising – Own product merchandising across the site, including the home page, landing pages, and product catalog
Marketing – Select products to highlight in marketing campaigns & initiatives; collaborate with ecommerce Marketing and Product teams to plan promotional calendar
Personalization – Champion personalization throughout the site experience, defining and driving the execution of personalized product recommendations and promotions that increase conversion and extend customer life-cycle
Product storytelling – Collaborate with brand marketing, product marketing and creative services teams to communicate the benefits and differences of LeapFrog products
Navigation - Identify and drive opportunities to optimize navigation and usability to maximize conversion
Product selection – Work with product marketing team to identify exclusive LeapFrog.com product opportunities
Inventory & fulfillment – Collaborate with operations team to plan inventory needs, optimize product availability, and ensure timely delivery to LeapFrog consumers
Analysis – Leverage sales data, web data (Google Analytics) and A/B testing to understand consumer shopping behavior and optimize sales
Forecasting – Collaborate with finance to create revenue forecasts by product
Education & Experience
At least 8 years of consumer product merchandising experience, including 4+ years of e-commerce merchandising
Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, develop, grow and inspire teams
Analytical and data-oriented, with a talent for using data to drive decision-making
Experience with ATG and Endeca a plus
A passion for understanding consumers and delivering exceptional consumer experiences
Strong organizational and planning skills
Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
MBA preferred, BA/BS required
