Reporting to the Deputy Chief Information Officer, the Sr. Director, Enterprise Budget & Business Intelligence will successfully lead, manage, control and support Enterprise Budget & Business Intelligence Solutions functions. This individual will be responsible for the strategic vision and prioritization of key initiatives. This is a highly visible role that involves the ability to manage and influence key University stakeholders as well as the ability to lead and manage a team of approximately twenty IT professionals. ? In partnership with the Deputy Chief Information Officer, serves as primary liaison with University stakeholders specific to enterprise budget applications and business intelligence solutions. ? Draws on experience and/or expert resources with in-depth knowledge of the business or function to provide university-wide solutions, by developing complex, multi-faceted software applications. ? Provides project management oversight of complex, University wide projects specific to Enterprise Budget Applications and Business Intelligence even more specifically the University enterprise application "Budget Tool." ? Provides development project management oversight of complex, CU wide projects, including: Establishing the development plan, monitors and reports on project status with business sponsor, partners with business sponsors on change requests to determine priorities and impact implications. ? Consults on complex end user issues that are escalated. Supports other CUIT and University technology staff in the resolution of issues. ? Translates and incorporates business vision and strategy to architectural strategy recommendations at the enterprise level. ? Accountable for establishing assessment methodologies, strategies and standards. ? Participates in the research and recommendation of appropriate models, methods, tools and technologies to achieve University wide solutions. ? Maintains sponsorship support for all CU wide infrastructure, business intelligence systems and enterprise budget application initiatives. ? Consults on University wide infrastructure and integration issues that are complex and multiplatform/application in nature. ? Recommends broad changes to systems/applications to address changing needs and ensure maintenance response to CUIT systems. ? Responsible for the capabilities and configuration of the technical team and its preparedness to meet the IT requirements of CU and its educational and research mission. ? Collaborates with Data Integration and Management team and proactively ensures awareness of data modeling constraints and impacts to front end reporting solution design. ? Builds effective partnerships with Finance leadership to facilitate technology planning, establish strategy and prioritize the project portfolio. ? Sets direction/strategy for testing. ? Accountable for post-implementation testing methodologies, technologies and CUIT capabilities. ? Provides leadership and best practices for use of technology and processes surrounding financial systems and applications. ? Manages team of twenty.

Minimum Qualifications for Grade Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant

? Bachelor's Degree required ? Minimum 10+ years of related experience, specifically within Financial Applications and/or Business Intelligence. ? Minimum 5+ years prior experience in senior leadership role. ? Proven experience in all relevant applications design and development languages, methodologies and tools. ? Experience with complex systems integration. ? Experience with application development. ? Exceptional communication and relationship management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

? Masters Degree ? PMP & ITIL Certified. ? Experience with Crystal Enterprise. ? Experience implementing data warehousing architectures.
