The Senior Director of Promotion Alignment is responsible for enabling enterprise marketing planning processes and for driving alignment and optimization of promotional marketing activities across Hilton Worldwide to meet System, Area, Region, Cluster, Brand and Hotel business needs.

The Senior Director, Promotion Alignment will be accountable for increasing the efficiency and effectivness of all Hilton Worldwide promotional activity over current baseline rates through a more structured, strategic, data-driven and timely approach to promotional decision-making.
- Establish and manage the promotional planning process to address Marketing Opportunities and meet Commercial Business Needs at the System, Area, Region, Cluster, Brand and Hotel-level
- Ensure that Offer incentive values are appropriately calibrated to business needs
- Ensure all promotional activity leverages and is informed by CRM-based Customer Contact Strategy
- Ensure all promotional activity incorporates Marketing Science-based test & learn approaches
- Ensure that expected outcomes (measurement metrics) for promotional activity align to stated objectives
- Define with Revenue Management and lead governance for HWI Promotional Policies & Practices
- Ensure planning outputs are cascaded to all appropriate levels of the organization

What will I be doing?
You are specifically responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Supports annual Global Marketing Planning & Budgeting process and links to promotional planning process & timelines, starting with major System or Area-level activities and cascading down to increasingly-targeted Clusters & Segments
Develops and refines a strategic approach to creating enterprise-wide promotional alignment on an ongoing basis
Supports promotional Business Needs Assessment process through participation in Commercial Focus to align on strategies and timelines
Ensures Regional and Cluster-level promotional retailing calendar is aligned to Business Needs
Identifies gaps in Off the Shelf promotional Offers toolkit as input to Offer Development team
Ensures the promotional planning process facilitates active use of Customer Contact Strategy, Lifecycle marketing and other CRM-based strategies to enable effective targeting of Offers to appropriate Customer Segments
Identifies opportunities to continually improve efficiencies and effectiveness of promotional activity through access to meaningful past-promotions activity analyses and through process improvements and

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
Four year college degree in business, marketing, communications or social science and/ minimum of six (6) years of progressive work experience in either marketing management, client service within the travel/hospitality industry or internal coordinating or allocating functions
Minimum of two (2) years of management experience involving working across several groups and functions and creative decision making
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions
Graduate degree in marketing, business management or related field a plus
Significant experience working in a complex corporate environment strongly preferred
Marketing promotions and direct marketing experience a plus
Hospitality and/or travel industry experience a plus
