Job Description
Position is responsible for direct management, oversight and planning activities of revenue cycle operations for Kaleida Health inpatient, outpatient and long-term care services. Areas of oversight include patient access, health information and coding, clinical documentation integrity, billing and collection services, cash posting, financial clearance, and facilitated enrollment. The position serves as a Kaleida Health representative and builds strong relationships to successfully manage operational issues with third party payers, internal operational leadership and outside regulatory agencies. Incumbent is primarily responsible for strategic planning and plan implementation for the Revenue Cycle operations, coordination of the billing and collection of the health systems accounts receivable, maintaining adequate cash flow to support operations, ensure billing and coding compliance, and maintaining an enhanced revenue cycle culture to drive best-in-class results in both the near-term and the long-term.

Minimum or Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business or related field required. Strong knowledge of governmental and third party billing and contracting, reimbursement, health information, and compliance regulations specific to New York State. Union environment experience preferred. 8 -10 years leadership experience required.
General financial and analytical experience. Patient accounting and hospital accounts receivable and billing management and department oversight. Experience with Healthcare information systems management,office management and staff supervision, Healthcare policies and procedures. PC skills and Windows software required.
