The role of the Sr. Director IT is to implement new IT driven business capabilities for corporate functions, advance our business intelligence competency and develop core competencies for the IT organization
Partner with corporate functions (e.g. finance, HR, learning and development, legal, procurement) on identifying business IT investments, developing business capability roadmaps, evaluating solutions and implementing projects which deliver significant value to the corporation
Develop and implement a plan to enhance our business intelligence and data management competencies for sales and patient safety analytics
Develop or enhance IT core competencies for talent management, project management, system development life cycle and business process management
Build strong partnerships and relationships, across the organization and externally, that lead to the highest levels of collaboration and effectiveness
Manage multiple projects and deliver consistently to the expectations of different stakeholders
Rapidly translate nebulous or complex business requirements into understandable and actionable ideas
Work collaboratively with other teams to design process, data and technical solutions which fit within the enterprise architecture
Develop a high performance team of managers and/or analysts
Job Requirements :
10 plus years in IT application management roles with at least 5 years in the Pharmaceutical industry
5 plus years designing, implementing and supporting solutions for finance, human resources, learning and development, legal, procurement
Strong business and technology acumen
Solid understanding of project and SDLC methodologies
Experience implementing projects using system integrators
Excellent presentation, communication, facilitation, influence, change management and consensus building skills
Proven track record of building, developing, and influencing high performing teams
A highly organized and self-directed approach to work, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize competing tasks in time-constrained situations.
Results orientated with strong attention to detail
A consultative, collaborative and team-oriented style
Bachelor degree in business, computer science or related degree; MBA is a plus
