We are currently looking for our Senior Director of Enterprise Systems & Infrastructure who will be responsible for supporting and improving Kimptons technology infrastructure and telecommunication environments. The Director is accountable for the strategic design, engineering, roadmaps and implementation of the infrastructure platforms. As the senior leader, you will be setting the direction across the technology stack for server, storage, databases, middleware and the future cloud platforms. The Director ensures reliable 24/7 delivery of services and operational support related to these systems.
The Director leads a geographically disbursed infrastructure organization and is the single point of ownership for Kimptons infrastructure. You are responsible for evaluating new technologies, understanding emerging industry technology trends and translating these new capabilities into strategic initiatives. The Director is recognized by peers and the organization as an expert for their knowledge and technical expertise in infrastructure technologies.
The Director manages key vendor relationships including third party data centers, hardware and software procurement, and operational service providers. The Director provides guidance and oversight to ensure all compliance requirements are being met with respect to SOX, SSAE16 and PCI.

Required Skills & Experience:
Manage, support and enhance Kimptons technology infrastructure and enterprise systems including hardware and software, physical and virtual servers, remote access and web based technologies.
Develop and implement recommendations on system architecture, best practices for implementation and support strategies.
Lead the development of the infrastructure strategy and execute on multi-year implementation plans.
Drive the development and management of technical roadmaps, project estimates, resource plans, departmental budgets and operational processes.
Provide project leadership for major infrastructure and IT project initiatives and implement technologies to align with key business needs.
Responsible for preparation and management of IT Infrastructure budget.
Technical Knowledge and Skills:
B.S. degree in engineering, computer science or related technical field is a requirement.
Ten (10) years of IT infrastructure leadership experience, including a minimum of five (5) years leading engineering and enterprise services. Five to seven years of progressive experience directing operations at the enterprise level for a multisite data center; supervising, mentoring and developing technical support staff; overseeing the development and implementation of server systems and network architectures. Experience managing associated VoIP, VLAN and VPN networks and related infrastructures. Experience managing infrastructure in a hosting environment. Strong knowledge and experience with server virtualization and virtual desktop technologies.
Hands on experience with Juniper and Cisco networks, virtualized environments (VMWare), web and mobile based systems and high volume transaction processing.
Strong project management skills, with experience in organizing, planning, and executing data center and technology projects from design through implementation, involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors.
Working knowledge of cloud based infrastructure, SaaS applications architecture and capabilities, systems integration and administration.
Network technologies (Juniper and/or Cisco) together with knowledge of Layer-3 VPNs, BGP, OSPF, SNMP, VLAN, QOS, Wireless, Network Optimization, VMware and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Storage Area Networks (SAN), HP servers and remote access (RSA), etc.
Microsoft technologies (Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008, SharePoint 2007/2010, SCCM 2007 Windows XP/7, Exchange 2007/2010, Server 2003/8 and Active Directory).
Directory Services (Active Directory), DNS, WINS, DHCP and other Unix/Windows services
Relational database technologies (SQL Server, and Oracle).
Infrastructure operational products (i.e. backup & restore, anti-virus, remote control, software delivery, asset/configuration management)
Internet Infrastructure including firewall, security (IDS/IPS), authentication, and web application server technologies.
CITRIX environments and remote access.
Voice/Unified Communications (Mitel,PBX/VoIP, Conferencing, Mobile).
