Develop & maintain IBM WebSphere Commerce web sites

Bachelor’s degree
5+ demonstrated technical experience on WebSphere Commerce Suite (WCS) projects
3+ years of experience supporting an high volume, transactional ecommerce platform
Strong experience with all subsystems of WCS preferably with version 6+
Strong experience using various JAVA and J2EE development technologies, including JSP/JSTL, EJB, JNDI, Struts, Tiles
Strong experience with DBMS preferably DB2
Experience with web2.0 frameworks like jquery and dojo, CSS, AJAX, JSON, XML
Experience with Google web toolkit (GWT) is desirable
Experience with Web Services, SOAP/REST. Experience with MQ Series is desirable
Experience with a content management system preferably WebSphere Web Content Management
Experience with a search tool preferably Endeca
Familiarity with payment plugins like Cybersource and Paypal
Experience with customizing accelerator tools of WCS
Proven analytical and testing experience including experience with project management tools (MS Project, Visio, Excel, etc.)
Strong documentation skills (user manuals, business requirements, test plans, etc.)
Ability to handle multiple tasks
Excellent time management, job scoping, and estimating skills
Retail industry experience a plus

The degree of complexity in problem solving will range from low to high depending on the project. This individual will eventually become the system owner for several critical applications and therefore needs to be comfortable with technical decision making. In addition, individual will be able to look to peers and management for problem solving and decision-making direction. This role will require a good amount of applying creative thinking along with system knowledge to solve technical issues.
