We are currently seeking a Senior Account Executive to join the team as a member of our growing Electrical Majors division.

Established in 1960, McKinstry is a full-service design, build, operate and maintain (DBOM) firm with over 1,600 employees. This person will be responsible for:
Coordinates and performs duties and responsibilities such as lead generation, customer service, proposal development, and customer acquisition.
Provides strategic sales expertise to develop opportunities.
Analyzes specific project potential taking into consideration changing market conditions.
Stays present and up to date in the market place.
Communicates with internal departments on sale opportunities.
Manages the development of projects. Includes the preparation and development of proposals, maintains satisfactory customer relationships, and partners with internal resources to ensure deliverables meet timelines and requirements.
Assists with the completion of budgeting, resource planning, operational reports and invoicing. Client Relations
Initiates and develops personal relationships with potential and existing clients.
Develops and delivers solutions which promote long-term and strategic partnerships with our clients.
Acts as a single point of accountability for specific aspects of a project and provide customer service support as needed to promote healthy customer relationships.
Utilizes McKinstry"s tools and processes that support our customer relationship strategies.
Serves as a point of contact for the client until the project goes into construction. Qualified candidates will possess the following:
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
Knowledge of building infrastructure systems and energy analysis.
Strong Needs-based Sales skills.
Bachelor"s degree in business, engineering, construction management or related field is required. Five (5) years of experience in sales in a construction company may substitute for education.
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in identifying leads, closing sales, and providing oversight to a project team is required.
Experience in financial/performance contracting is preferred.
Ability and willingness to travel regionally.
Physical ability to navigate jobsites in uneven terrain.
Provide personal transportation for meetings and job visits away from the office; reimbursed.
