Senior Electrical Engineer in Lower Ohio Valley!
Our client is a Premium Supplier of Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management Services consisting of engineers, project managers, procurement and project services personnel, designers, draftspersons and administrative staff.
The Senior Electrical Engineer’s primary duties include preparation of drawings and documentation for power distribution, lighting, motor control communications, heat tracing, grounding systems, instrument plans, circuit schedules and instrument loop drawings.
Performs electrical engineering projects including power distribution, lighting, motor control communications, heat tracing, grounding systems, instrument plans, circuit schedules and instrument loop drawings
Develops bids, proposals, scopes of work, scope changes, correspondence, estimates, schedules, material lists, specifications, theories of operation, programming documentation, design concepts, design drawings and other project documentation per customer and corporate guidelines
Performs field work and technical research
Performs technical studies and calculations
Performs programming and system commissioning
Provides guidance and assistance to subordinate staff on task assignments, as well as technical and procedural requirements
Boston Group Executive Offices
BSEE, PE a plus
Minimum 5 years experience required
Class1/Division 1 experience
Strong instrumentation background
Design of electrical and control schematics
Specify equipment/instrumentation based on a clients’ description of his idea or written scope
Specify medium voltage equipment, such as, MCCs, power transformers, distribution panels, etc.
Working knowledge of NEC, BOCA and other codes related to design
Familiar with instrumentation and its applications
Experience in electrical and instrumentation design in hazardous location/NEC Article 500
Experience in project estimating
Chemical industry experience desirable
Candidates who live within 4 hours of Southern Indiana preferred
