** We are seeking a Senior Energy Resource Analyst ($92,288-110,746). However, based on our candidate pool, we will consider candidates at the Analyst II ($76,271 - $91,526 )level.**
The Eugene Water & Electric Board is seeking a resource planner with experience in load forecasting, business analytics modeling, and training in statistics and/or economics.
This position performs complex analyses related to short-term and long-term energy supply issues and will facilitate the development and implementation of EWEB’s integrated energy resource plan. The ideal candidate will p articipate in the development of regional, state and local energy policies. In addition, this position participates in the acquisition of short-term and long-term energy supplies (as an owner or power purchaser), and evaluates success in meeting energy resource acquisition targets for amounts and costs. Energy Resource Analysts at the II or Senior level also manage assigned projects.

Minimum Training and Experience Required:
Level II – Three years progressively responsible experience in developing models and analyzing information related to energy supply and transmission or demand-side programs or negotiating wholesale or retail energy supply contracts.
Senior – Five years progressively responsible experience in demand-side management, power resources or resource planning plus at least one year in a lead role with other staff.
Additional preferred qualifications:
Education and/or training : Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, mathematics, science, engineering or related field. Advanced degree preferred and may substitute for experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may qualify.
