The Senior Enterprise Applications Administrator is responsible for providing technical support to a variety of business users and their applications. The Senior Enterprise Applications Administrator will be accountable for the monitoring and maintaining business systems to ensure system availability to the business community and our customers. The Senior Enterprise Applications Administrator must have the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. Overtime and holiday work is required and is a condition of the job.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent in experience and education desired.

  • Minimum of 7 years experience in server/application administration or another Information Technology discipline.

  • Have an advanced understanding of application design principles and application architecture.

  • Ability to navigate and work on multiple operating systems such as Windows and Unix-Linux.

  • Knowledge of programming languages and tools such as Java, .Net, WSDL, SOA, XMP, MQ Messaging, Enterprise Service Bus, Unix shell scripting.

  • SQL programming experience preferred.

  • Expert level troubleshooting and support skills.

  • Ability to install third party software and configure vendor systems while following established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.

  • Ability to work within a team or self-directed when as required.

  • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage various sized projects.

  • Leads by example and serves as a mentor for other team members

  • Ability to review project proposals and estimate work effort, requirements and timelines.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.

  • Knowledge of health care business is preferred.

  • Maintains confidentiality and uses only the minimum amount of protected health information (PHI) necessary to accomplish job related responsibilities.

  • Ability to work a minimum of 37.5 hours per week and overtime as required.
