The Health Policy Center is seeking a Senior Fellow to lead research efforts related to the US health care system.
Individuals would work as part of interdisciplinary research teams that conduct studies related to the Medicare and Medicaid programs, federal and state health policy, health insurance markets, the uninsured and access to care, and the health care safety net. Major responsibilities include intellectual leadership in project development, identifying and securing funding sources for projects, mentoring and managing research staff, and representing the Institute and its work to clients, policymakers and professional audiences.
PhD in Economics, Health Policy or other related Social Sciences field and 10+ years policy research experience or equivalent combination of education and research experience. Experienced leadership in the analyses of the medical and hospital sector. Proven ability to conduct high level analysis in these areas, preparation of reports and publishable papers, good presentation skills as well as strong quantitative skills. Incumbent must be a strong communicator and published writer on health policy topics.
