US Consumer Services is the team that identifies, creates and manages the products, benefits and services that cater to US consumers. This includes the US proprietary charge cards, credit cards and co-brand cards. USCS provides benefits and services that deepen a customer’s relationship with American Express and bring to life the importance value of being a card member. The USCS Finance team provides analytical and decision support to USCS business teams as they strive to achieve that aforementioned objectives.
-Role provides decision support for US Consumer Lending, one of the largest businesses in American Express.
-Team provides cost-benefit analysis on a range of business decisions, including product launches, product refreshes and new feature additions.
-Team also leads analysis in support of strategic decision making, including product line and customer segment reviews.
-Candidate will need to learn the US Consumer card product designs (and same for competition), develop ability to conduct data pulls, and understand key levers of profitability in the Lend business. These skills will eventually help candidate to pressure test existing cost-benefit analyses as well as to eventually conduct self-led CBA's.
-As all initiatives in the business require inputs from across the wider organization, including Risk, Marketing, Technologies, Compliance, Legal and other Finance teams, there are many cross-functional meetings, and ability to take a wider perspective is critical.

Qualifications
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, deliver superior quality products, while adhering to time sensitive deadlines, attention to detail with accuracy.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Business Acumen with high degree of technical and problem solving skills.
- Understanding of Finance and Economic principles.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
-Ability to navigate and build Excel models and mine database information preferred.
- Bachelor's degree required.
