To perform complex financial analysis and to provide supervisory guidance in a fiscal group of the Medical Branch.
From $60,880.00 To $72,000.00 Annually, commensurate with experience.

Specific Job Related Duties
Monitors and measures the fiscal and/or budget trends providing related reports and data to assist the Administrator and Dean of the School of Nursing (SON).
Performs fiscal duties within the School of Nursing and creates specialized reports that include finance operational reviews and profitability reports utilizing related software applications and systems including PeopleSoft Financial/HCM, Hyperion, DataMart, MS Excel and MS Access.
Manages and coordinates budget process in conjunction with the Administrator and other key administrative and area leaders.
Analyzes ventures related to faculty practice and other fiscal projects as assigned.
Analyzes finance operations and identifies improvements in the Office of the Dean and other areas within the School of Nursing making recommendations as requested by Administrator and/or Dean.
Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure and identifies appropriate financial internal controls providing mechanisms to monitor and enforce compliance.
Provides informational guidance to SON area staff, committees and faculty when applicable.
May oversee the work of others as determined by the Administrator.
Supports/manages related work projects and tasks as assigned by the Administrator.
Master's Degree in Business Administration.
Skilled in utilizing institutional systems and processes to provide accurate data/reports to meet assigned deadlines. Systems and applications include: PeopleSoft Financial/HCM, Hyperion, DataMart, MS Excel, MS Access and Essbase.
Preferred Work Experience
Experience working in a financial position within the University of Texas System or hospital academic setting.
