SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST, Sloan School of Management, to ensure Sloan meets the reporting, financial planning, and modeling needs of senior management and the academic community. Will develop analytical and reporting tools to integrate financial information and provide a framework for evaluating financial decisions; develop long-range financial planning and modeling tools to evaluate the implications of change in the environment; prepare financial studies to provide comprehensive financial analyses and strategic recommendations; analyze historical financial information; perform trend analysis of historical relationships; forecast estimates of future financial results; develop budget estimates for new program development; work as part of a team to develop dashboard applications; work in partnership with fiscal officers to assist in analyses and modeling of operational issues to identify their impact on Sloan's strategic plans; and--in collaboration with the director--review, plan, and expedite financial priorities and develop the models and strategies necessary to perform analyses.

REQUIREMENTS: a bachelor's degree (master's in business administration or comparable business degree preferred); a minimum of five years' business experience; experience with enterprise financial systems and intermediate proficiency with desktop applications, e.g., Excel, Word, Lotus, Workday, Tableau, and FileMaker; strong interpersonal and communication skills; demonstrated, hands-on experience with the conceptualization and implementation of business intelligence systems; and the ability to be proactive in taking both long- and short-term approaches to identifying and monitoring the key variables likely to affect Sloan's financial well-being. Must possess comprehensive knowledge of the interrelationship of Sloan revenue and expenses, a thorough understanding of Sloan's financial processes, and an appreciation of the impact of external forces on these processes.
