GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION RMS is seeking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst, reporting to the Director of Finance. This Senior Analyst will have experience supporting a Sales organization including, but not limited to, revenue and bookings forecasts, development and reporting of sales metrics, backlog and pipeline analysis. The right individual for this role is a proven strategic financial partner with a passion toward operational excellence, great attention to detail and a proven ability to work with senior leadership. Main Responsibilities Work closely with key managers to create and maintain accurate bookings forecasts. Analyze, synthesize, translate data into key strategic inputs and insights that will drive strategic decision making within the various organizations. Develop and maintain financial models in support of the Quarterly and Annual forecasting process - including "what-if" scenario analysis. Prepare and communicate monthly and quarterly financial reports - provide insightful analysis on budget variances and expense trends. Work with business partners to identify appropriate metrics to track and evaluate business performance. Build trust and a communication network within customer organizations. Work across departments to ensure that financial tools and processes are consistent with the overall objectives of the finance/planning organization. Assist with ad-hoc analysis on various projects as required. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor"s degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA preferred 5-7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or equivalent area Experience in Corporate FP&A or providing financial support to a Business Unit in a high-tech or software company Strong interpersonal and team building skills; ability to work with a diverse team and influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries Excellent communication skills with ability to grasp complex concepts and ability to communicate internally with all stakeholders Strong problem solving and analytical skills Experience in managing multiple tasks/projects and priorities with the ability to escalate in an appropriate and timely manner Superior Microsoft Excel skills Experience with SAP BPC desired Position requires accuracy and attention to detail Ability to effectively interact with senior management and cross functional departments Our ultimate goal is to create a more sustainable and resilient world through a better understanding of catastrophic events.
