The Senior Writer contributes creative, customized content for institutional investment audiences. The Senior Writer in this role produces in-depth content in multiple formats for institutional investors and consultants.
Create and write original content including, but not limited to: marketing materials, reports on markets and portfolios, white papers and presentations for institutional audiences.
Translate complex ideas into compelling, sophisticated and informative pieces.
Leverage strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity to produce written materials that engage and inspire.
Effectively align content with business strategy and collaborate with business groups on larger initiatives.
Work collaboratively with senior business leaders and investment professionals for strategic direction, key objectives and themes for content.
Participate in brain storming and idea-generating sessions.
Manage projects by establishing goals, organizing project teams, synthesizing diverse perspectives in a highly collaborative environment, and guiding deliverables to completion.
Ensure content aligns with business goals, communicates the desired message to the intended audience, and adheres to corporate brand standards, style guides, and legal and compliance guidelines.
Research statistical, product, audience, anecdotal and other relevant information to successfully complete the writing project.
Keep abreast of company, industry, and regulatory changes and internal initiatives. Hiring Criteria
Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of professional writing experience, preferably in the financial services industry or as a financial journalist.
The ability to translate complex ideas into compelling, sophisticated and informative pieces.
Experience managing projects from inception to delivery.
Proven relationship building skills.
A deep understanding of financial markets.
College degree in English or Journalism preferred, CFA or CFA coursework desirable.
