Tyco designs and manufactures fire detection, fire suppression and mechanical products, and also installs and services fire protection systems globally. In addition, Tyco manufactures respiratory and other personal protective equipment and safety devices for fire and rescue services, industrial workers, police, military and civil defense organizations around the world.
The Business Analyst will conduct general IT business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefits analyses in order to align information technology solutions with business delivery initiatives.
Business Process Development,implementation, and support
Determine new process requirements and map to system functionality
Evaluate and recommend solutions
Document system functionality as related to processes
Conduct key user sessions to obtain validation of processes
Work with application development and web development teams to provide an integrated solution
Provide day-to-day support to the end users
Identify key communication points during the project and report progress
End-User Training
Prepare/compile End-User training materials
Conduct End-User Training
Four (4) year degree or equivalent experience
3 years of experience working in IT in a Distribution Center environment
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the principles, concepts and theories of own discipline and some knowledge of principles and concepts in other functions
Understands appropriate procedures, policies, practices, systems and regulations
Demonstrate business and organizational acumen of disciplines and client function (Distribution Center Operations)
Able to lead small to medium projects
Support projects and lead sub-teams in support of projects
Recognized as a subject matter expert
Experience implementing WMS systems
Knowledgeable on Red Prairie WMS functionality
Knowledge on Baan ERP is a plus
Knowledge on Lean/Six Sigma is a plus
