We are currently seeking a Senior IT Project Manager (Web). The Senior IT Project Manager (Web) plays a critical role in the planning, scheduling, monitoring and execution of projects sponsored by IT or done in support of business objectives. The primary job responsibilities of the Senior IT Project Manager are to thoroughly understand the scope, schedule, budget, and conditions of satisfaction for a project, while scheduling resources, monitoring task completion, be the day to day point of contact for clients, and managing client expectations to ensure the project delivers the agreed upon scope within its budget and time constraints. Project managers are expected to interface within both the IT and business organizations to ensure that the appropriate processes are followed and deliverables produced. Excellent oral/written communication skills, multitasking capabilities, and software development lifecycle knowledge (waterfall and agile) will be needed to excel in this position.

Key Responsibilities

Using Microsoft Project and Rally, develop project schedules, to include a work breakdown structure, resource allocation, and developing critical path analysis.

Delivering solutions to the enterprise within cost, schedule, and budget constraints, while meeting or exceeding conditions of satisfaction

Monitoring progress against the scope, schedule, and budget parameters, representing projects at project review meetings, and briefing senior management as necessary.

Ensuring that internal IT processes relative to software development and checkpoint processes are followed.

Developing working relationships with business partners at multiple levels of management.

Ownership of appropriate project deliverables, while coordinating the development, review, and finalization of the remaining project deliverables across multiple organizational units

Develop and publish a project status report, issues/risks tables, and schedule updates on a weekly or biweekly basis

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required

Minimum of 8 years of substantial technology experience in a services oriented firm, with a minimum of 6 being in a technical project management role

The candidate must have at least 8 years of in providing web based solutions for external customers in B2B or B2C environment

Strong understanding of web-based product and project development

A demonstrated history of delivering complex technical projects from concept to production and maintenance

The ability to coordinate the efforts of performers from multiple organizations into a coordinated project effort

Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership for wide-ranging responsibilities

Superb organization and prioritization skills

Ability to perform under deadline pressure with grace

Persistence, resourcefulness, drive and ability to work proactively

Strong communications, planning, and risk mitigation skills, both verbal and written

Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Rally, and PowerPoint

Familiarity and experience with the Agile (incremental delivery) project management methodology

Desire to contribute meaningfully to the team

Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility to accommodate different situations and requirements

Exceptional customer service ethic

Desire to advance in role and explore career paths within IT and firm-wide
