TS/SCI with CI polygraph clearance required for this position.
The Senior FOIA Analyst requires knowledge and experience processing and responding to FOIA requests within the IC. The Junior FOIA Analyst will interact with all levels of the government to include senior government leaders at the Senior Executive Service (SES) level and shall possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Interpersonal and customer service skills are extremely important as this position requires working with senior professional staff, industry partners, government leadership within the ODNI, and mid to high-level government leadership within the IC agencies.
Track, monitor and report the progress/status of FOIA cases
Collect and prepare documents for review and processing
Follow-up with customers as appropriate
Coordinate activities with other ODNI components/teams as necessary
Perform other related duties as assigned
Update cases in FOIA specific data base
Juris Doctorate (JD) Degree or equivalent experience
10 years experience in working Records Management or FOIA
Knowledge of 5 U.S.C. 522, as amended
Knowledge of FOIA processes and procedures within the IC
Knowledge of records management technologies, polices, and best practices
Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to be flexible to customer requirements and changes
