MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary purpose of this position is to serve AgStar’s internal and external clients by providing the organization with a quality internal control and audit process. The process objectively evaluates credit quality and administration, accounting practices, and other internal operations, which support the Board of Directors and management in controlling and identifying risk; following business plans, policies and procedures; adhering to regulations; and maintaining sound fiscal operations.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field. 7 – 10 related work experience. Strong knowledge of applicable Federal and State laws, rules and regulations regarding credit extension. Requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Requires excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiating, influencing and team-building skills. Requires intermediate use of various computer business/financial applications.
