The Senior International Client Business Associate will work on a large international media account and is responsible for day-to-day coordination with global markets as well as assisting in the management of local market teams as they develop, execute, and monitor media plans for the Microsoft International business.

  • Communication with the international UM offices across the globe
  • Takes an active role in managing status calls with global offices
  • Ensures timely delivery of work to client
  • Assist in the rolling up of global media plans and documents highlighting key programs for the corporate client
  • Aids in the rolling up of global budgeting documents
  • Set up weekly client status calls, take notes and proactively assist in follow-up
  • Management of global media plan entry into global database
  • Extraction of competitive spend data from competitive tool and assistance in creation of competitive report(s)
  • Bi-weekly tracking of search reports and summary of key findings (seeking to fully understand learnings)
  • Aids in the maintenance of budget control across markets
  • Writes POVs, memos and portions of media plan roll-ups
  • Plans, directs, supervises and coordinates work activities of subordinates and handles all personnel requirements for immediate staff including training and development

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
  • Strong interest in or some experience with international business
  • Proficiency in a foreign language e.g. Japanese/Portuguese/French/German/Spanish a plus
  • Strong mathematical and analytical abilities
  • Solid personal computer efficiency
  • MS Office preferred including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
