Reporting to the CTO and working with other members of the company's Tech team, the ideal candidate would be responsible for all aspects of development, from technical design, to development and QA. Knowledge skills experience Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents. Perform coding to written technical specifications. Investigate, analyze and document reported defects Perform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects.

Create, document, and implement unit test plans, scripts, and test harnesses. Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates. Minimum of 6 years software development experience. Must be fluent in writing code (Java is a must PHP - bonus) Strong experience with SQL, preferably MySQL Familiar with Junit and unit testing procedures.

Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce experience a plus Mobile experience a plus, including SMPP and message protocols Personal skills Advanced problem solving abilities Well developed time management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines Must be able to work unsupervised on own initiative as well as part of a team Well developed interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal Exceptional attention to detail and management of own tasks Ability to juggle multiple tasks and sense of urgency are essential Successful candidates will take direction well and be able to work in a fast paced small company environment Education Qualifications Computer Sciences degree preferred For immediate consideration forward your resume to Java, Core Java, Tomcat, MySQL, Linux, Unix, Junit (PHP, Hbase, Memcache, Hadoop, HDFS, Map/Reduce experience a plus)
