The Terex Business System (TBS) workshop leader position is responsible for perpetuating continuous improvement through coaching, training, guiding, and leading continuous improvement initiatives within business processes and systems. This position will focus primarily on administrative process improvement.
Coordinates with work teams to identify system and process improvement opportunities. Conducts training in Lean principles, methods, and tools. Serves as internal advisor, facilitator, and participant on team-based improvement projects. Assists teams with identifying improvement opportunities, developing action plans, and joint problem solving. Conducts training needs assessments. Develops instructional objectives for, but not limited to technical, sales, team building, quality improvement, process improvement, and supervisory training. Performs other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the position.
Bachelor’s Degree plus 7 years’ experience , with a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Lean Leader. Minimum five (5) years experience working within a Lean operating system. Extensive experience leading kaizen improvement. At least 3-5 years of management experience with direct reports. Sedentary involves constant sitting. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally, frequent lifting of 1-2 pounds.
