Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, or the sciences.
YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
The position requires ten equivalent years of experience in analysis and technical management.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent quantitative and analytical skills for a senior level position. This position requires an organized, detail-oriented individual with good communication skills, fluency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. The ideal candidate will be a senior level cost estimator with strong modeling skills and ACEIT knowledge and experience. Space system estimating and ground system estimating experience including software estimating is a plus.
Individuals will perform a variety of cost and economic analyses in support of space acquisition cost estimating. Duties include performing cost trades and special studies, developing and maintaining "what-if" scenarios, supporting life cycle cost (LCC) evaluations and sensitivity analyses cost/budget excursions, ROM estimates, estimates of engineering change proposal (ECP) requirements, system support cost estimates and cost benefit and risk analysis, special studies, cost estimates and documentation to support various orbiting follow-on program acquisitions.
