NCI: As the Senior Logistician ( Logistics Specialist ) on the Aerial Target OPT PD1 contract at Hill Air Force Base , Utah, you will use your prior experience and expertise to Co-Chair and schedule Bi weekly Parts IPT meetings, prepare spreadsheets and send out agenda for the top 10 parts issues. Senior Logistician will also research DLA managed items in the DLA E-MALL system for the latest information as to requisitions, assets and status of due-ins and prepare QF-4 Future Parts Requirements

Highlights of Responsibilities
  • Input SARs (Supply Assistance Requests) to DLA on urgently needed NSNs for F/QF-4 and BQM-167A. Expedite parts required to alleviate work stoppages.
  • Check DDE (Demand Data Exchange)for additions and changes for DLA managed NSNs Tracked F-4 Inventory.
  • Look up AF managed items in DO35, DO43 and SMART systems for the latest information. Check for assets 1 – 2 times/week on 64 DLA managed and top critical items.
  • Work with DLA to expedite, increase procurement quantities, etc as needed. Submit/Track/approve/documents Form 44’s for assets pulled from AMARG stored aircraft.
  • Expedite parts when possible and provide requirements to DLA and AF IMs.
  • Contact DLA representative when discrepancies exist and request shipment of requisitions.
  • Assist in preparing charts and participate in Stand Up meetings twice a month.

Requirements
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Government issued security clearance.
  • Bachelors' Degree in the related field.
  • Five to seven years progressive experience in the associated field.
  • Must be familiar with government legacy databases associated with parts issue and management, and government supply system including DO35, DO43, MIAP, EMALL, Enterprise Solution Supply Systems GIDEP, IHS/Haystack, and MS Office Suite.
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Experience in supply chanin management and logistics planning functions.
  • Active Secret Security clearance.
