The Sr. Manager of Acquisition Marketing is responsible for driving growth through ‘inorganic’ channels – essentially generating customers, Hostesses and prospective Stylist leads for our independent Stylists. The Sr. Manager of Acquisition Marketing will generate, plan and execute innovative acquisition programs both online and offline. The Sr. Manager of Acquisition Marketing will report to the VP of Strategy & Marketing.
Scope of Responsibilities
Generate ecommerce traffic: Drive ecommerce traffic through optimization of Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing as well as Affiliate Marketing.
Drive online Stylist sign-up conversion: Manage ‘Join’ section of the website (section for prospective Stylists), including all ‘Join’ messaging throughout the site, all content included in the ‘Join’ section and Sign-up flow.
Manage the Hostess experience to drive Trunk Show booking and Trunk Show success: Serve as the internal owner of the Hostess experience and be the internal ‘advocate’ for our Hostesses across cross-functional processes. Drive online conversion for Hostesses by managing all prospective Hostess messaging throughout the site and all content within ‘host’ section of website.
Drive innovative Stylist acquisition programs: Generate, plan and execute innovative ideas to drive new Stylist sign-ups, e.g., targeted marketing to specific demographics (e.g., Hispanic), direct mail programs, brand partnerships, local events, etc.
Analyze and communicate ecommerce performance: Regularly assess ecommerce performance and determine impact of recent actions, using sources such as Google Analytics, Crazy Egg, etc. Determine implications of analysis and recommended actions and communicate to broader marketing team and management team. Monitor competitive best practices, keep up with industry trends and introduce new ideas for improving performance.

Experience & Skills Requirements
Proven online marketing success: Experience maximizing ecommerce revenue, traffic and ROI through SEO, SEM, Affiliate Marketing channels. Understanding of user acquisition best practices and ability to adapt them to our unique channel
Strategic and analytic skillset: Analytical skills to identify opportunities, problem-solve, and communicate key performance trends to our team. Expertise in web analytics and AB testing approaches to judge effectiveness of our user experience and facilitate tests for key projects
Cross-Functional Leadership – Proven ability to get things done in a complex, cross-functional environment. In particular, ability to collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams to define and help prioritize functionality improvements.
Creative Leadership – Proven track record in coming up with out-of-the-box ideas and collaboration with creative teams to develop compelling marketing campaigns.
Strong communication Skills – Demonstrated experience in writing and editing materials for print and web-based communication.
Big & Small Company Experience –experience at both large and small companies to appreciate the disciplined and analytical approach of implementing a complex program while embracing the sense of urgency, innovation and resourcefulness required at a fast-paced small company environment.
Bachelor’s Degree from a top university, MBA a plus
5-7+ years of experience, with at least 3 years of online marketing experience
