• Strategy & Planning:
In this position you will manage the project of developing a “New Education Learning Platform strategy, budget plan, ROI, and drive the executive approval process to gain “freedom to operate”. The project team would include other members of the TAMS education & training team and would consult with key members of the global Toshiba Medical education and training team. The strategy would coordinate with Toshiba LMS and CRM efforts. Advise executive staff on technology changes and make recommendations for future technology investment and manage and meet new media assigned expense budget.
• Infrastructure Development
You will develop and maintain new media infrastructure to support the delivery of pre-developed education content for Toshiba learning committees. Manage 3rd party relationships with infrastructure providers as needed. Partner with the Toshiba IT department in a cross functional capacity to ensure we are well prepared to deliver education content using new media today and into the future. Collaborate with other Toshiba divisions to meet global requirements that can be shared and source, select and deploy new technologies that provide value to Toshiba customers.
• Content Development & Community building
You will act as project manager for the development and implementation of content development and community-building plans. Guide pre-production education team on appropriate curriculum delivery strategies for pre-developed content and be responsible for ensuring education content partners meet deliverables identified in partnership agreements.
New Media” Promotion
You will lead an effort along with Toshiba Marketing to launch and promote the “New Media” initiatives and represent Toshiba at media/education industry functions.
Minimum of 10 years experience in education development.
CBT development including project management 5 years experience.
Four year degree in Communications, Organizational Development, Education or Business, MBA or Masters Degree in Education highly desired.
Five years of experience in LMS or Systems administration and management
High proficiency in analytical, organizational, written, verbal and electronic communication skills.
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office.
Ability to cultivate industry relationships, specifically with clinical subject matter experts
Working environment is indoors, reasonably clean, well lit, and ventilated.
Generally little or no probability of injury or health impairment.
Requires light physical effort involving intermittent standing, sitting, or walking while performing duties, occasionally lifting up to 10 pounds.
Requires extended periods of time working on a personal computer.
Travel required approximately 30% of the time.
