The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing, overseeing and executing strategic social media and digital initiatives across multiple channels. You are a strategic, forward thinker who has helped build a consumer brand in the social space with impressive stats and best practices. Not only are you able to pair a knowledge and passion for social media channel programs with a creative vision, you ’re hungry for the chance to take your talents (and a certain well-loved, growing brand) and propel it into the social stratosphere. What You Will Do: Develop social media strategies and integrated marketing campaigns that align with and support the core business goals.

Implement and maintain comprehensive social media strategies that will increase brand visibility and traffic across all social platforms (including content development, community engagement and management) with a focus on generating revenue through social channels. Understand target audiences for each of our products, know their behavior and create interesting solutions that reach and convert behaviors. Day-to-day management on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Tumblr, Google and other platforms where we have presence. Excel in relationship development with key members of social media outlets, bloggers, enthusiasts, consumer and business media.

Identify and secure social media influencer partnerships. Develop a community programs and social media/events promotional calendar both that builds awareness and engagement; you°ll also help create assets and supporting materials to execute programs. Cultivate smart, strategic partnerships that support content and marketing objectives. Create social media management standards, policies and rules of engagement.

Bring together internal stakeholders and define and develop scalable programs that utilize social initiatives for marketing, support and product innovation ensuring consistent messaging. Develop metrics to evaluate effectiveness of programs. Present reports showing the success of the campaigns. Work closely with other marketing managers to develop social media plans and creative social campaigns as part of overall product campaigns.

Manage performance-based campaign reporting. Perform industry and competitive analysis to highlight underlying category trends and competitive dynamics surrounding social. Educate internal teams on key findings and apply them towards integrated marketing campaigns. Creation and execution of social media programs, with significant integration across PR and Marketing plans, to grow the Speck network online community and increase engagement with the brand and product offering.

Work with world class partners including the Brooklyn Nets. Sports knowledge and passion is a plus. Coordinate with PR/event agencies and various vendors to deliver on planned programs and production elements decided by communications team. About You: Demonstrated track record of executing social marketing programs for top-tier consumer brands and driving acquisition, retention and engagement with proven results.

External agency/vendor and project management experience including writing and presenting creative briefs. A creative thinker who continuously crafts innovative ideas to reach target audiences. In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and an understanding of how to apply them in a manner that is fitting to the Speck brand and business goals. Must be on top of new social media trends and experiences and can think and execute across digital, social and mobile platforms.

Strong knowledge of social media analysis tools (i.e., Radian6, Google Analytics, etc). Superior communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Experience working cross functionally and interacting with cross-functional teams at all levels in a rapidly changing environment. Must be collaborative and creative in working through best practices for social media exposure of company news.

Must also possess ability to provide counsel and direction internally for social media practices. Must have an entertainment “spin ”. Must understand the consumer in the center (B2C). Knowledge and/or passion for sports a plus.

Have a high degree of motivation and a track record of early technology adoption. A natural born “connector ” both internally and externally. Ability to understand customer needs and identify unmet (or emerging) needs that can be solved using social networking. Understand technology trends as it relates to Social.

Outstanding influencing, matrix management and partner management skills necessary to build strong relationships. Superb writer, presenter and flawless project manager who can solve problems, act decisively and prioritize. Your Professional Profile: BA/BS required. MBA preferred.

2 - 3 years or more of experience in building " executing social marketing strategies across multiple channels. Relevant consumer events experience. . .
