A Senior Market Research Analyst manages agency-wide research programs including custom market intelligence (brand perception studies, competitive analysis, etc.) and thought-leadership (trend study) campaigns. Senior Market Research Analysts work directly with internal client leads, clients, and third-party vendors to design and execute strategic reports.

Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and implement quantitative and qualitative research, compile results, analyze and interpret data, and develop reports Maintain daily contact with internal client leads, advising and counseling on market research activity and report promotion Contribute ideas to program development for clients and new business proposals Manage relationships with third-party vendors Draft, edit, and field surveys Contribute to survey sample design Manage data collection through surveys, focus groups, intercepts, one-on-one interviews Manage projects against timelines and budgets Meet internal client team needs and deadlines effectively Provide supervision, direction, and support to assigned team members Skills Required:
Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, and interpersonal Creative and visual thinker Keen observer of market trends and opportunities Proactive problem solver who enjoys telling a story with numbers Qualitative and quantitative data analysis and statistical skills Knowledge and experience with online data collection Strong analytical, conceptual, and research skills Strong time management skills – ability to work in a team-oriented, deadline-driven environment and prioritize effectively O rganizational skills with strong attention to detail Ex cellent Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills Other Recommended Qualifications:
BA or BS in marketing, finance, economics, or related field Four to six years market research experience Demonstrated experience in research design, data analysis, interpretation, and report development Demonstrated experience in quantitative and qualitative data collection (i.e., Web surveys, intercept surveys, in-depth telephone interviewing) Knowledge of Information Technology or Telecommunications industries very helpful Experience in Public Relations or Communications industries helpful
