The Tulsa Dental Specialties Division is located in Tulsa,
OK. Located in the heart of Green Country in Northeast
Oklahoma, the city of Tulsa is the 2nd largest city in Oklahoma and

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing the technical support
needed to bring new products from conceptual state to full
production. Manages multiple projects from ideation to
launch.

Essential Duties:
Contributes to the product development process by directing
and/or completing the design, analysis and testing phases of the
project. Works with identified manufacturing resources,
supervising contractors as appropriate to ensure quality standards
and timelines are achieved.

Partners with product management team and manufacturing
resources to: evaluate products designs; analyze test results; and
investigate product performance issues. Makes recommendations
as appropriate and follows through on identified actions.

Designs and evaluates new products for performance and
design. Consults with dentists, inventors and other outside
resources regarding concepts and products.

Designs test methods and experiments to verify and validate
product designs.

Manages project design activities according to priority and
scheduling.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Science degree from an accredited college or
university.

Five years of related experience.

Two years minimum medical device development experience.

Ability to apply Design Control principles and design control
processes.

Qualifications:
Knowledge of mechanical design techniques, principles, tools
and instruments involved in the production and use of precision
technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

Knowledge of Solid Modeling techniques (SolidWorks), FEA
(CosmosWorks), and working with vendors to create prototype
concepts (SLA) or procure physical prototypes for demonstration and
feasibility purposes.

Knowledge of equipment, tools, mechanical devices, and their
uses to produce motion, light, power, technology, and other
applications.

Effective problem solving and project management skills.

Stays abreast of organization's markets and products, key
business processes.
