Senior Mechanical Inspector Greeley and Hansen -

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years or more of progressive experience in inspecting mechanical work on large construction of public works projects (municipal, commercial or industrial facilities). Familiarity with New York City Department of Environmental Protection procedures and tunnel experience is a plus.
We require formal training in mechanical technology or a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Ability to become a Registered Professional Engineer in New York is desired. Main responsibility of this position include field observation of construction contractors' activities for conformance with mechanical contract requirements; and preparation/implementaton of procedures and checklists to monitor and document contractor performance.
